Dinosaur Dry Goods was founded in 1999 as a brick & mortar store in King Ferry, NY featuring gently-used clothing for kids. As Ed ran the store with little ones in tow, Jackie continued her career at Angelheart Designs, as the MIS Manager. Seeing new possibilities for bringing together gently-used Flax for fans all over the world, the store shifted focus and added a website. In 2001, Jackie left Angelheart to manage the store full time. In 2007, the business was moved into the front parlor of Jackie and Ed's farmhouse to expand the web presence and have more freedom to traipse around the countryside. And that is where the vintage and antiques business started. At the urging of a friend, we started selling our vintage collections and searching out more unique goods to sell both locally and online. As of 2021, we have built a barn-studio behind our home in Poplar Ridge. The barn is home base for our web business and items that are going off to various pop-up markets (#TheGrainBinMarket) We are open in Poplar Ridge by appointment for intrepid shoppers who can deal with shopping in a quirky work-in-progress.
